Faction Warfare - Fwiend of Fweddit

Fweddit, they just want to be understood and loved. They're simple folk, but they shouldn't be judged on their simplicity. They might think that algebwa is a woot vegetable, but they know how to pwess the fire button on their Coercer spaceships, as well as we Minmatar know how to do so with our Thwashers. When not twying to beat back inevitability, they're on their planets, waising their chickens, sewing little tuxedos for them, interbweeding with siblings and cousins, playing Powerball with their genetic code. No diffewent ... well, a bit diffewent ... okay, a helluva lot diffewent than the west of us, but they have feelings and they were hurt.

Many of them took my pwevious faction warfare entwy like a Chicken Cordon Bleu. Deeply wounded would be an understatement. I got tweets, evemails, in-game conversation wequests, all asking the same thing: "y u no lik us?" Litewally. Fweddit, they like letters, not so much words.

But we got it all sorted after a manner. We are still going to kill each other. It wouldn't be wight, otherwise. But I am not now a fwiend of Fweddit. I even got these two ovations earlier today:

So, all is good. I hope to speak diwectly with the Fweddit King (not Pontius, his fwiend in Wome) soon.

The downside to all this new fwiendship is that the Fwedditors kept forgetting they were flying spaceships, not using social media.

So, I was pwimaried quickly, most of the day. Lots of kills to be had, and Minmatar pwevailed thwough most evewy fight, yet I only ever saw the first minute of any battle. Enthusiastic fwiendship has its downsides. I may have to use an arty Thwasher the west of the weekend.

My woes aside, all hail the Fweddit fwigates, destwoyers, cwuisers, and battlecwuisers. They give us good target pwactice fights.

  1. You seem pretty quick to dismiss us. I wouldn't sit on that high throne too quickly. Although a lot of our members are new, and low skilled, numbers are on our side.

    We already top almost all the metrics for faction warfare, although you control more systems...for now.

    3. Fweddit has seriously done no shit at all with applying pressure on minnies so far though. Just blobs, bad local solo smacktalkers, and sometimes hilarious fcing. you guys have potential, but then again its said every week :P all still fun and casual though, we minnies like the pew so far, and if u do too, then thts wt games are abt, having fun.

    2. Bwut, the adjwective forms of the wworwd 'attention' are 'attentive' and/orw 'attentional'. I gwuess you fwancy-hatted Minmataw awen't as good wwith gwammaw as you thouwght.

      On a more serious note, getting primaried doesn't mean they took the post badly. If you didn't learn in WoW or some Wow-clone that popularity with the opposing faction also resulted in getting primaried early in GvG battle, surely you observed that (positive regard => negative attention) on the playground as a five-year-old? Not that I'm accusing Fweddit of acting like five-year olds, they're definitely acting a few years older than that. Ok, maybe months, but no lower than that.

    3. In the context that they used 'attention', it was modifying the noun 'whore', so it was acting like an adjective. But I'm a CompSci degree guy, so not strong on all the grammar language.

      I didn't think I was getting primaried out of spite. They wouldn't have been good naturedly calling me out/saying hi in local. They would have had harsher things to say. :)

  4. If you find yourself constantly getting primaried its time to fly a bait maller. You're looking at 80-90k EHP and you'll still be putting out around 100 dps or so. You get to piss off Fweddit and you're seriously useful to your corp as Fweddit are spending a long time taking out little to no DPS. Use your fame to your advantage.

    (Also once they've stopped calling you primary, you still fly a maller but fit for gank. You then get to put out 300-400 dps with no chance of being primaried :D)
