These Fweddit dudes are pretty cool, too, though. Their comms are not the shitfest I had been expecting. (But then, DurrHurrDurr hasn't been on either.)
Went on one roam today with Fweddit. Best. Roam. Ever. (That's some Susan Black level hyperbole, right there.) I brought the only ship I had on me at the time, the very unsuited for fleet roaming Elise Randolph Keres. Got bored at the end of the roam and attacked an SFI, then got blowed up when an Arbitrator undocked.
The Gallente seem darned risk averse for faction warfare people. Lowsec is dangerous, I suppose.
It'll be good to try out this warzone. It's damned huge, and roams are tens of systems long, rather than just two (Huola -> Kourmonen -> Kamela.)
DHD is actually one of the funnest (is that a word??) fc I have flown under. Anyone who can stop calling targets in the middle of a fight to make fun of the enemies name, and still pull a victory, is someone to be admired. Durrakes best Drakes.

ReplyDeleteWhile I'm not in FW any more, I have to agree with you about the difference between the Cal/Gal and Amarr/Min warzones. The Tuskers do most their their roaming in Cal/Gal lowsec, and it's amazing how far we can go without ever leaving the warzone. Roaming Amarr/Min on the other hand always felt like a quick 30 minute loop and you'd pretty much exhausted your possibilities.
