PvP Screen Layout
Everybody does something a little different, varying their configurations of EVE Online spreadsheets that work best for them during their normal activities, whether that's PvP, industry, mining, or any of the other umpteen activities we can all take part in.
My screen is set-up for PvP, since that's the activity I take part in the most. Other than ship spinning, my main doesn't do much else.
So far, this is working quite well for me.

Here's my setup. I tweak it from time to time but it's the basic setup.
ReplyDeleteLocal nice and tall so I can see as many pilots as possible, large d-scan for quickly scanning things down.
And all the targeting stuff near the bottom because I'm unfortunately still a clicker and really need to start using hotkeys beyond F1/2/3 one of these days.

No gutter?
ReplyDeleteOther than that, I used to sport much the same thing except I used Scanner instead of P&P.
No use of D-scan, poetic?
I'm not usually the scout, so don't really need it cluttering my screen unnecessarily.
DeleteMyself I place scanner in the same screen P&P is... I dont usually need them at exactly the same time..
DeleteNot a scout, but having lived in Wormholes made a paranoid scanner out of me
Here is my UI. I tend to keep my overview, targets and action abr close to each other for faster responses.

This is quite close to mine, and I've found it works quite well. I use transversal and absolute velocity instead of absolute and angular, though.
ReplyDeleteAs well, as a mid-to-long range missile pilot on my "co-mains," I've also found that absolute plus radial velocities (the O/V tells you when you're about to derp into scram/web range in your ub3r-1337 MWD/nanofag ship that way :)) work well, too.

Seeing a screenshot of someone else living in the University of Caille station in Egghelende makes me so jealous :( I miss that place so much.
