This dude has hated, not disliked, but downright hated Fweddit ever since they joined the Amarr faction. He became outright frothing about it when Fweddit made their one month foray up with the Caldari militia, and then gloriously returned.
According to him Fweddit are a lazy pack of shits, who do nothing at all for the Amarr militia. Do not read Cynthia's History of the Amarr Militia. It's a lopsided analysis.
The Amarr currently control forty systems. The Amarr haven't controlled this many systems for a couple dozen months (excepting Nulli Secunda's quick vacation here last summer, but we can all ignore that.) It's a fantastic time to be Amarrican. We even have plex farmers now. Who would have ever imagined that happening?
I'd just like to say that Cynthia can get down on his hands and knees and blow us. You wouldn't be at T3 warzone control now if it weren't for the YOLO Coalition: In Exile, Moar Tears and Fweddit. We do more for the Amarr than running your mouth has ever done.

Guess who's logo is now live? (You may have to refresh/F5 the page a couple times.) It's in the image database. EVE Gate is feeding off it immediately. And according to CCP Explorer, the game client itself will begin feeding in the logo after 24 hours.
I'm especially proud because I made it. It's not an original design. It's a recreation from a webcomic. Brainless Tales. Chicken Patty in Space. But I got permission to use what I created from the artist. A couple emails and all was done. He seemed thrilled, actually, that a version of his artwork was going to appear in a game.
It's a pretty sweet logo. I think most of Fweddit love it. (Except Byakko, but then he wanted our logo to be a grilled cheese sandwich.) I certainly love it.

EVE University. We love you. (Whoa! Did I just say that?) We love fighting you. But for the love of the Amarrican God, stop bringing a new fleet comp every time you come fight us. That's why we keep dumpstering you. And we then feel bad about it. Do you want us to feel bad?
Pro tip: Stick with a single doctrine, and become fucking good at it. Don't keep switching up your doctrines, because you end up sucking at all of them.
We want you to keep popping by for fights. We want you to get better, so the good fights become great fights. So, yeah, stick with something and become aces at it.

ReplyDeleteBut seriously, awesome accomplishment. Even though we obviously left I'm still watching the FW conflict and you guys have really done an amazing job. Initially when I heard we where moving I felt a bit guilty because the future looked uncertain, but it seems you guys have everything more then in hand and that makes me really happy.
I really can't wait to see how far you can push it. Keep it up. (and come visit us in curse some day)

Regarding Cynthia, while she smacks a lot she at least backs it up with plexing and lots of tear harvesting/killing. Personally I feel like her and DCM's local/forum smack goes overboard at times, but they do make some funny images and are at least contributors to the warzone.
The problem with Fweddit is they're simply terrible at everything, nothing they can do will change this. You can polish a turd all you want, but at the end of the day it will still die in a bag of dicks. Seriously, its #YOLOCOLO not the YOLO coalition ffs.

ReplyDeleteWHEN I said fweddit was shit, you were in minmatar militia. You could have asked me anytime, even in December I would have said "its a pleasent surprise to see fweddit doing now what I TOLD THEM TO DO".
The fweddit who took Dal is a whole different corp than the fweddit who needed 25 thrashers to take 1 medium plex, that was already secured by my CRUISER - while letting the WT plex the small.
There was also a week when just my alt corp outplexed fweddit, so while I admit you are doing your part now, you could do at least the same.

DeleteThe Uni has no doctrine. In the 4 months or so I've been here I know of one or two regularly recurring doctrine roams. 99% of the fleets I have been on have been kitchen sink. We would be far more effective and probably learn more if we started flying doctrine more. However, the nature of the Uni is that they can't tell you what to fly. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad. It just is. I have to give credit to our FCs who do enforce a doctrine. Please note I only speak for myself and do not represent the Uni in any official form. Looking forward to more fights from y'all. I'll swing by Egg soon and see if I can get a decent 1v1. Just don't undock another Drake against my Thrasher. Plz.

DeleteHello poetic, I was in that uni fleet that you guys dunked, if i remember correctly you had me (in a bellicose) sensor damped and running away from drones for most of the fight. I'll probably be benching that char for having a name that starts with A.
ReplyDeleteThat specific fleet was FC'd by a guest FC from team liquid, and the idea was to make a kiting shield cruiser fleet, too bad most of us charged to get within optimal. The few HML cruisers who actually kited mostly lived, until the got caught by lachesis points.
